Burgertime

The snob burger may be one of the fastest-growing trends in the culinary world. In the few years since I gave a rave review to Hubert Keller's groundbreaking Burger Bar, I've eaten and written about more gourmet hamburgers than I care to recall. Personally, I can't understand why people love going to a "nice" restaurant to eat something they could easily prepare at home. (I recently grilled up an ass-kicking seasoned buffalo burger, stuffed with bleu cheese, in about 20 minutes from start to finish.) But it's not my place to question the public's taste. My job is to tell you whether the town's latest high-end burger joint is worth the price of admission. Which led me to Grind Burger Bar & Lounge.
